Our Shorkies are healthy and have received the best of preventative well-puppy care.
Each Shorkie puppy will be current on all vaccinations, with dewclaws removed.
Our puppies have 6 and 8 weeks shots. We worm with safeguard at 2, 4, 6, and 8
weeks of which treats for round worm, hook worm ,whip worm and Guardia!
We use revolution which prevents ear mites, mange mites, ticks, and fleas.
The Shorkies had their 8 week shots today.

Grooming
Shorkie puppies more than average grooming. If you let their hair grow
out you will need to brush them daily. Therefore for ease of care it is
best to give them puppy cuts about every 6 - 8 weeks.
Walking Your Shorkie puppy
When you bring your Shorkie puppy home your do not take him for a walk. Your Shorkie puppy must not walk where other people have walked, or other dogs have walked. You can take him out in the back yard. Hopefully you will have a fenced in yard that will protect your new Shorkie puppy from predators and other dogs. The reason you don't take your Shorkie puppy out side your yard is you need to finish his puppy shots before you take him for a walk.
When you do this your protecting the life of that cute new Shorkie that is
yours to cherish as long as he lives. He will be protected against many life threatening diseases.
This is why we suggest the play pen care method untill he finishes his shots.
Besides this you will find that he loves his new home in his new playpen.
